For every user in your database you can set the level of access they have. This can be read only, full access, and many levels in-between.

Online Product
You can set the access levels of some users to read only and others to have add and edit access.

You can choose any account type you need for your company based on the backup, priory support, and other features you may need. You can only have 1 account type and all licenses are purchased for that account type. It is not possible to mix licenses as priority support, backups etc must either be on or off for all users and data in your account.

Desktop Product
You can set the access levels of some users to read only and others to have add and edit access.

The desktop software has no view only license, as every user needs a license and you set their access level, but if you do not want them to have a license it is possible to output your schedule to web pages, shared calendars, email alerts and into Outlook. These options will allow remote users access to view the schedule without the need to install the Schedule it software. For more details please see this page.

You can set the access levels of some users to read only and others to have add and edit access. Each user still needs a license to install and use the software no matter the level of access you give them.
