Over the last few years we have been improving our sharing features by email, html outputs, shared calendars etc to such an extent that it is now possible to control a large external team of resources and keep them updated with a single desktop user.
A positive effect of these continuous improvements to the sharing features for our clients is many can now reduce the number of full desktop licenses they need. This also has a negative effect for us as the more we improve the sharing features the less licenses we will sell until we are unable to continue.
For this reason each desktop license is limited to sharing with up to 3 external resources or users. You can purchase additional licenses to cover your external sharing needs. This allows us to keep improving these sharing options even more, offer even better benefits, without putting at risk our ability to support and be here for you in the future.
"Schedule it desktop can share data externally with 3 resources. This is increased in multiples of 3 for every additional license purchased. This can be via 3 TomTom units, an approved email list of 3 addresses for sending or receiving via email alerts, 3 resources in the Web Output, 3 Outlook integration paths, and the creation of 3 remote subscription calendars. Bulk license packs are available which give unlimited sharing and removes the 3:1 limitations."
Sharing data using the methods above costs approximately £2 per user/resource per month that you share data with and you get 1 desktop user for free. E.g. 1 desktop license at £75 can also share with 3 remote resources, 75/3 resources = £25, £25/12 months = £2 per resource.
